カレンダー作り making a calendar

家族が続々と風邪をひく1週間だった。ひとりが体調を崩すとままならないね。

ちょっと間が空いたけど、またレッスンを楽しもう。

この秋、いくつかの習慣をはじめた。

カレンダー作りもそのひとつ。

 

夏休み前、小学校の先生が歯磨きカレンダーを配布した。

それは魚と日付がはいったカレンダーで、子どもが歯を磨くと、その日に色を塗ることができる。

色は磨いた時間で変わる。

5分以上なら青、3分以上は水色、2分に満たなければ黄色、歯磨きしなかったら色は塗れない。

 

息子はこれを気に入って、毎日5分磨きするようになった。

歯磨きのいい習慣がついた。

 

夏休みの後、息子がカレンダー描いてくれないかと頼んできた。

私は絵を描くのは得意じゃないんだけど、そう言われたら、やるしか。

 

息子は今月のテーマをくれる。

秋は運動会。

なのでかけっこと玉入れを描いた。

10月は遠足というので、ドングリ拾いを描いた。

11月はお芋掘り。

 

来月は何を描いたらいいかな。

 

自作の英文
I started to get some habit this autumn.
Making a calendar for my son is one of them.
 
Before summer vacation, his teacher provided a brush teeth calendar.
The fishes and data was drawn on the calendar, if the children brush their teeth, they can draw the day.
The color was different as brushing time.
For example, more than 5minutes was blue,more than 3minutes was light-blue,less than 2 minutes was yellow,
not brushing day was no color.
 
My son like it and he brushed his teeth for 5minutes everyday.
He formed good habit of brushing teeth.
 
After summer vacation,he ask me to draw calendar.
I’m not good at drawing,however he wants, I had to draw it.
 
He gave me the theme of the calendars.
September was sports day.
I made the illustration for sprint and ball-toss game.
October was school picnic,so I made the illustration for children picking acorns.
November’s theme was digging sweet potatoes.
 
Next month,what do I draw?

I made it differently by drawing fishes and putting the dates inside the fishes.

He can color the fish depending on how many minutes he brushes his teeth. 
For example he brushes his teeth for more than five , he can color the fish in Blue, if more than three minutes, the color should be Light Blue. He can color the fishes in Yellow, if he brushes his teeth less than two minutes. Finally, he should not put any color on the fish if he is not able to brush his teeth.

感想

今回の日記は娘の添い寝をしながら、スマホで書いた。

最初は机に向かって辞書引きながら書いてたから、少しはマシになったかな。

 

で、いつもの先生が交通渋滞に巻き込まれたので、代講の先生。

和やかな雰囲気作りをする先生が多い中で、この人は授業に集中するスタイル。

ただ初対面でこの内容の日記は恥ずかしかった。説明のために絵を描いたりとか...。

 

途中意味が通じない文章だったようで、がっつり書き直されたw

歯を磨いた時間によって、塗る色が変わるって表現悩みながら書いてた。

He can color the fish depending on how many minutes he brushes his teeth. 

なるほど、"depend on"からの"how many minutes"はなるほど、美しい流れだ。

 

"corresponding"="対応する"、は生きた英語として今回覚えられた。

英単語本に当然載ってるけど、使う言葉として私の中にはinputされてなかったなぁと。

"make illustration for"と書いたんだけど、この"for"は誰かのために、という意味合いになるので、何を書いたの前置詞は"of"。

"色を塗る"は"draw"ではなく"put on a color"とか単に"color"。言われてみるとそうだなぁ。

 

手直しして、いつもの先生にもお願いしてみた。

先生によって添削内容が変わるのが面白かった。

こちらは原文を活かして、文法の間違いをチェックするスタイル。

今回発音を聞きながらメモしたんだけど、where/wereなど聞き違えた単語があった。

次からは自分の文章プリントアウトしておいたほうが捗るかも。

 

それにしても、恥ずかしい日常やら語学力を披露することになるから、このブログは結構つらいw
