事始め beginning of this year
今日のレッスンは悩み事を聞いてもらったんだけど、文法や言葉を知らないことでうまく伝えられない、向こうのアドバイスを理解できない、ということで、英語をがんばってやらなきゃ、という気になった。
日本語日記
息子が持ってないポケモンを捕まえたいというので、船で港の方に行った。
横浜駅から赤レンガ倉庫まで。
観光地なんだけど、この日は混んでいなかった。
正月、多くの日本人は神社か寺にいくか、さもなければ寝てるかだ。
息子は新しいポケモンをいくつか見つけて満足していた。
散歩を楽しんでいると、スケートリンクが見えてきた。
仮設の場外リンクだ。
毎冬多くの人が楽しんでいる。
息子と私もやってみることにした。
私たちは初心者で立つこともできなかった。
息子はアイススケーターになったつもりで、滑り出したけど、転んで顔を打った。
出血してるのを見て、これは泣くかなと思った。
けれど息子は痛みに耐えて、また練習しだした。
いつまでも子どもじゃないんだな。
結局私たちは初心者から抜け出せなかったけど、楽しかった。
この冬もう1回スケートに挑戦したい。

My son wanted to catch Pokémon that he didn’t have, so we went to a port side area by ship.
We took from Yokohama station to Yokohama Red Brick Warehouse.
There was a tourist spot,however it wasn’t crowded
it was on January 1st, almost Japanese went to shrine or temple,otherwise they slept at home.
My son found some new Pokémon so he was satisfied.
When we enjoyed taking a walk, we caught sight of a skating rink.
It was a temporary outside facility.
Many people enjoyed it every winter.
My son and I tried skating.
We were beginner so we couldn't stand on the ice.
My son imagined as a ice skater, he tried skating however he fell down and attacked his face.
I thought he began to cry because I saw little blood on his face.
He had stranded his pain for a while, and he started practicing on ice.
He was not still a child,I thought.
After all, we were still beginner on ice,but we knew the fun of skating, we try to skate again on this winter.

感想
ささいなミスくらいだよ、と言われた通り、ささいな。
でもだったら間違えちゃだめだよな。
転んで顔を打つ、は "land on one's face"。
こういうのさっと出てこない。
あと"child"と"kid"の違い。
"child"は本当に小さなこともだったり、親と子という関係性の言葉で、間違ってないけどこの文章の場合は"kid"、少年に近い意味合いだからこっちがいいとのことだった。
"child"はpolite、かしこまってるけど、"kid"はくだけていて、自分の子どもに使うなら良いとか。
